Portland Dental Services
From a cleaning to a full-arch implant, all in one office
4.9 across 770+ Google reviews
Dr. Cho handles routine checkups and surgical cases in the same chairs, with the same team, and with sedation available at every level.
General Dentistry
Everything that keeps a healthy mouth healthy and catches problems early.
Exams and Cleanings
Twice-a-year checkups with digital x-rays, an air polisher, and a hygienist who slows down when you need it.
Emergency Dentistry
Cracked teeth, lost fillings, swelling, pain that won’t settle. Call, and we’ll get you in the same day whenever the schedule allows.
Explore Emergency DentistryFillings
Tooth-colored composite, matched to your enamel. We also swap out old silver fillings for ones nobody can see.
Sealants
A thin protective coating over the grooves of back teeth, mostly for kids, so cavities never get a foothold.
Gum Disease Treatment
Scaling, air polishing, and laser therapy when it’s the gentler route. Ongoing periodontal maintenance for patients who’ve had treatment before.
Mouthguards
Custom nightguards for grinding and clenching. Custom sports guards for anyone who takes a hit on the weekend.
Family and Children’s Dentistry
Kids get cleanings, sealants, and checkups in the same office as their parents, so everyone books together.
Special Needs Dentistry
Care adapted to patients with physical, developmental, or sensory needs, planned case by case, with sedation when it helps.
Restorative Dentistry
Repairs and replacements for teeth that are damaged, worn, or missing.
Crowns and Bridges
Crowns cap a damaged tooth; bridges fill a gap by anchoring to the teeth on either side. Every material except porcelain-fused-to-metal.
Inlays and Onlays
The middle ground between a filling and a crown. Lab-made pieces that rebuild a tooth without cutting away healthy structure.
Crown Lengthening
Reshapes the gumline to expose more tooth, usually so a crown has enough to hold onto.
Gum Grafting
Covers receding gums to protect exposed roots, using your own tissue or donor tissue depending on your case.
Dentures
Full and partial dentures, plus implant-supported snap-in dentures that stay put without adhesive.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Changes to how your teeth look, from a quick touch-up to a full front-tooth makeover.
Teeth Whitening
Opalescence, in the office for a fast lift or take-home trays for a slower one.
Veneers
Thin porcelain shells that reshape chipped, worn, or uneven front teeth. You see a digital preview and try temporaries before the final set is made.
Bonding
Same-day fix for a chip, a small gap, or a discolored spot, using composite shaped by hand.
Clear Aligners
Straighten teeth with clear trays instead of brackets. Dr. Cho scans your mouth, maps the movement, and you swap trays at home.
Retainers
Vivera retainers, made from a digital scan, to keep teeth where aligners left them.
Oral Surgery & Sedation
Surgery and sedation done in-house, by the same dentist who does your checkups.
Dental Implants
A titanium post placed in the jaw and topped with a crown, bridge, or full arch. Placed and restored in-house, planned with cone beam CT and 3D scanning.
Explore Dental ImplantsBone Grafting
Rebuilds jawbone so an implant has something solid to hold. Includes socket preservation, sinus lifts, and guided bone and tissue regeneration.
Tooth Extractions
Simple pulls, wisdom teeth, and the surgical cases other offices refer out. Sedation available for all of them.

Questions people ask about our Portland dental services
What dental services do you offer in Portland?
Everything from routine cleanings and fillings to root canals, crowns, implants, extractions, gum grafting, and cosmetic work. Plus, IV sedation for patients who need it. If you don't see what you're looking for, call and ask.
Do I need a referral for implants or wisdom teeth?
No. Dr. Cho places implants and removes wisdom teeth here, with sedation. Surgery is part of our everyday dental services in Portland, not something we send across town. You book directly with us.
Can I get dental implants and a cleaning at the same office?
Yes, and from the same dentist: the person who places your implant is the one who sees you for checkups afterward and knows your whole history.
Do you offer sedation for dental work in Portland?
Yes, at three levels. Nitrous takes the edge off a cleaning or filling and wears off before you drive home. Oral sedation goes further for longer appointments. IV sedation keeps you fully relaxed through extractions and implant surgery. We're one of the few general dental practices on the west side offering IV.
How much do dental services cost without insurance?
It depends on the treatment, and you'll get a written estimate before anything starts. For routine care, the Life Bloom Dental Membership Club covers cleanings, exams, and x-rays for a flat monthly fee and discounts other treatments. For larger cases, Cherry Finance spreads payments over time. Cash, check, and card all work.
I have a sore in my mouth. Is it a cold sore or a canker sore?
They look similar and get treated differently. We explain the difference between cold sores and canker sores and when to come in.
Do you see new patients for emergencies?
Case by case, and usually yes. Call (503) 646-4600 and describe what's happening. We keep room in the schedule for same-day problems and will get you in the same day whenever we can.
