Training
Dr. Cho grew up in Beaverton and graduated from Westview High School. He earned his undergraduate degree at Pepperdine University in Malibu, then came home to Oregon Health & Science University for his DMD, graduating in 2013.
After several years in private practice in Vermont, he returned to Portland and took over the Cedar Hills practice built by Dr. Rickland Asai, which became Life Bloom Dental.
He takes more than 100 hours of continuing education every year and lectures to other dentists on applying new technology in practice.
How He Works
-
Comfort before anything else
Headphones, a blanket, a massage mat, or full IV sedation. Whatever gets you through the visit is the right choice.
-
Every recommendation comes with a why
Dr. Cho puts your x-rays and scans on the screen and shows you what he’s looking at. You’ll understand the problem before you hear the solution.
-
You decide the pace
Some patients want everything handled in a month. Others want to spread it over a year. Both work.
Where He Focuses
Implant Surgery
Placed and restored in-house, from single tooth to full arch, planned with cone beam CT and 3D scanning.
Sedation
Nitrous, oral, and IV. Dr. Daniel Cho is one of the few Portland dentists on the west side offering IV sedation in a general practice.
Complex Extractions
Wisdom teeth and the surgical cases other offices send to a specialist.

Off the Clock
Camping, crabbing, and clamming on the Oregon coast
CrossFit and Jiu Jitsu
Smoking barbecue (it may come up during your visit)
Favorite movie: The Lord of the Rings trilogy
Favorite food: seafood
